A. Service Goals  

We would like this service to have a goal of being

a) Well managed

This service is professionally managed by people having good past track record with some kind of service level agreement with the Bangalore Transport Authority

b) Comfortable

The service provide comfort to the commuters given the high pollution levels in Bangalore. A/C cars will be able to provide the comfort as we show in our proposal. At the same time the cars need to pass minimum criteria of pollution norms so that it does not add to the current pollution situation of Bangalore

c) Safe

Given the current Bangalore’s safety situation and the past incidences of cab issues the service needs to provide a full proof safety conditions for the commuters. Also it is important that un-necessary confusions between the driver/commuter on the bill payment is avoided and is made driver/commuter independent to streamline the bill payments.

d) Affordable

It is important that this service is affordable to the average Bangaloreans so that its usage increases, decreasing the overdependence (and hence problems) on relatively un-organized services. This service should run as a Metered Service

f) Uses the state of art technology

Nothing can be more important than this. The service needs to use the state of art technology to make it highly operationally efficient. Not much is being used in terms of technology through out the country to make this kind of service operationally and process wise highly efficient and effective.

g) Enhances Bangalore’s World Wide Image of the High Tech City and definitely India’s Silicon Valley.

This service should be able to enhance the City’s image as Bangalore is already in the World Map of happening cities. This service should help in the image pullover of our own city in the country and in the world.
